WE BELIEVE

in:
The only true God, the almighty Creator of all things,
existing eternally in three persons
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit full of love and glory.

The unique divine inspiration,
entire trustworthiness
and authority of the Bible.

The value and dignity of all people:
created in God’s image to live in love and holiness,
but alienated from God and each other because of our sin and guilt,
and justly subject to God’s wrath.

Jesus Christ, fully human and fully divine,
who lived as a perfect example,
who assumed the judgment due sinners by dying in our place,
and who was bodily raised from the dead and ascended as Savior and Lord.

Justification by God’s grace to all who repent
and put their faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.

The indwelling presence and transforming power of the Holy Spirit,
who gives to all believers a new life and a new calling to obedient service.

The unity of all believers in Jesus Christ,
manifest in worshiping and witnessing churches
making disciples throughout the world.

The victorious reign and future personal return of Jesus Christ,
who will judge all people with justice and mercy,
giving over the unrepentant to eternal condemnation
but receiving the redeemed into eternal life.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

Our conviction is that followers of Jesus, at the very least, ought to be active in these three things: Worship, Community, and Mission. There may be more to the life of a Christian, but there is not less. When we long to see witnessing communities on college campuses, this is what we're longing to see. When we see students leaving the campus and entering churches, we hope that these are the essential elements of their life in Jesus.

WORSHIP

Worship

We were made to know God and to be known by him. Our aim is to help students grow in their love for God with their hearts, their minds, their actions, and all they have. We want students to know Jesus as King and Friend, Ruler and Comforter, Savior and Giver of Life.

We believe that to worship, but live outside community & mission would leave someone short of who they are as an Image Bearer. And that to live a communal and missional life, without a connection to Jesus would leave someone without hope.

COMMUNITY

Community

We are made to know and to be known by others. God said "Let us make them in OUR image." Community has been a part of the design from the very beginning. And in our fractured world, we need true communities of hope more than ever.

But we cannot settle for communities of comfort, ones without true reconciliation or diversity. The Kingdom of God gathers God's people from every nation, tribe, & tongue.

Community without worship or mission is devoid of meaning and significance, and we were made for more. But to have worship and mission without community would be isolation, leaving us less than human. "It is not good for humanity to be alone."

MISSION

Mission

We are made to rule and to reign over God's good creation. We were made to rule over the earth and care for it--keeping it, working it, cultivating it. This is our partnership with God, and the reason for which we have been redeemed.

We believe each human bears God's image and was made to make something of the world with Him. This means sharing the story of redemption, but it also means seeing all of our work, play, and rest in light of our original purpose.

Mission without worship or community is a lonely road of misaimed charity. Worship and community without mission is often good will, but lukewarm.
